Ellie is a delightful and affectionate dog with a heart as big as her personality. She adores everyone she meets, whether they are human, canine, feline etc. She eagerly works for food, toys or praise and is safe with children as well! Ellie’s favorite pastime is watching March Madness basketball, where she enjoys curling up on the couch with her family. Inside the ring, Ellie made a notable impression as a puppy, earning her Championship with just two shows at 6.5 months old. And has also earned a leg toward her grand championship with limited showing as an adult. She enjoys using her nose in a variety of environments including scentwork at home, barn hunt and an absolutely beautiful flash point on upland fowl! Ellie can often be found being used as a demo dog or calm friendly dog for my training clients. Additionally, she has volunteered as a therapy dog in the local school.
Gus is a happy, medium-high drive poodle with an "off switch." He loves nothing more than retrieving in water or on land. He taught himself to catch a tennis ball at 9 months of age and has since graduated to catching a frisbee, which he rarely misses. He and his owner Kim have competed and accomplished many titles together across a multitude of venues (barn hunt, FastCat, coursing, rally obedience, dock diving and nosework). Gus and his owner also have dabbled in agility and hope to compete one of these days. Gus has sired many accomplished offspring as well including working service and therapy dogs, drug detection, agility, barn hunt, rally, obedience, hunting, TV work, weight pull, nosework and more! Gus has sired multiple UKC champions and grand champions as well. These two paired together have to potential to throw a rainbow of colors. This litter could include black based: solid/abstract, brindle, parti, brindle parti and even a small chance for sable and phantom as well as solids/abstracts in shades of cream too.
